Mei is very friendly, she loves making friends though tends to be a bit shy around new people. She has a large appetite and enjoys cooking, which she learnt from her grandparents. She's very dependable and takes school seriously but tends to doze off in class. She can be a bit of a clutz when she's tired or distracted. Mei never goes anywhere without her laptop, kept in her bag. She's very responsible, due to helping take care of her younger sister. She's also very self-conscious about her short hair, having always had long hair until her younger sister(3) decided to chop it off.

Bio: Mei was raised by her parents in Osaka until her a little after her younger sister, Shiharu, was born. Her parents got sent overseas, England, for work so Mei and her sister moved in with their grandparents. Who both are very conservative and traditional. They taught her to cook traditional foods and insisted she learnt the art of tea ceremony in middle school, but upon entering high school they let her choose what club she wanted to join, thus joining computer. Her little sister is a spoiled child, who is doted on by their grandparents and is showered in gifts from their parents who feel bad for leaving them there. One day when she was upset no one would play with her, Shiharu found a pair of scissors and cut off a bunch of Mei's hair while she was napping, so Mei had to get it cut super short to fix it. She got her first laptop her 1st year of High School, and has become addicted to technology, and wants to major in computer science. Her favorite is the Asus Zenbook, which is her current laptop. She speaks English fluently, as she visits her parents every summer. She's never had a boyfriend because of her traditional grandparents and being relatively shy around the opposite gender, but hopes to change that.
